Mural Unveiled at Crowder College

A student-painted mural titled, “Plan, Learn, Care, Create, Serve” was unveiled at Crowder College Wednesday. The mural is on display at the Lee Library on the Neosho Campus. Library Director Eric Deatherage tells News Talk KZRG what the artwork represents.

“It is designed to represent the connection between the library and different jobs and service positions in society.”

Deatherage adds that the students got a lot out of working on the piece.

“As they were going through working on the mural they got to learn about different methods and different styles.”

Deatherage thanks the Crowder College Friends of the Library for supporting the nearly year-long project.
