Chris Le Beau, Assistant Teaching Professor and Learning & Research Librarian at UMKC, has been elected as the 2017-2018 president of the Reference and User Services Association (RUSA).

RUSA is a division of the American Library Association and is considered the foremost organization of reference and information professionals who connect people to the information, services, and collection materials they need.

Chris will become RUSA president-elect at the ALA Annual Conference this year and will officially become president in June of 2017. Congratulations on receiving this honor, Chris!
