Job Summary
Missouri University of Science and Technology Libraries is seeking a Marketing and Communications Specialist to be responsible for the promotion of the library’s collection, services, and programs to our university community. This role includes marketing, public relations, media relations, advertising, digital strategy, and internal communications. The Marketing and Communications Specialist creates and disseminates promotional material through appropriate media channels such as traditional print publications (flyers, signs, and posters), online graphics, and other media. The Marketing and Communications Specialist will promote library events and services and assist other library units with virtual programming and tutorials on the use of apps, databases, and equipment. The Marketing and Communications Specialist will assist library management in identifying, developing, implementing, and evaluating all marketing and promotional strategies. Additionally, the Marketing and Communications Specialist will assist patrons at our service desk, and perform other duties associated with collection management. Hours are Sunday – Thursday, 11am – 8pm. Please apply online here.
