University Librarian

Fontbonne University invites applications for the position of University Librarian, the Director of the Jack C. Taylor Library, to begin in May 2022. This is a 12-month, tenure track faculty position, and the faculty rank is dependent upon qualifications and experience. The University Librarian reports to the Vice President for Academic Affairs.

The Jack C. Taylor Library is committed to the common good through the support of transformative education, the dissemination of shared resources, and the preservation of Fontbonne University’s heritage. Library collections and services encourage and inspire students to become global citizens who think critically, act ethically, and serve responsibly. Faculty librarians participate fully in shared governance and create an intellectual vibrancy among the small but dedicated faculty.
