MOBIUS Joins OER Commons!

MOBIUS is excited to announce that we have signed an agreement with OER Commons to create a MOBIUS OERC Hub.

OERC (Open Educational Resources Commons) uses a system of "Hubs" and "Groups" to highlight collections and facilitate collaboration around the sharing and creation of Open Educational Resources. Each MOBIUS member library will be able to create its own "Group" within OER Commons for free.

Groups are community spaces that provide tools for faculty to use in developing OER, specific collections, and collaboration. MOBIUS will have an OER Common Hub that will be a branded landing page for all of the MOBIUS library OER groups, allowing them to aggregate and share consortia wide OER collections and to work together on OER projects, while still highlighting local OER content.

We will share more details about implementation and training as we move forward with a MOBIUS Hub!
