Purpose of the Policy

Cataloging standards provide the foundation for achieving reliable online access to all of the materials shared in the MOBIUS Catalog. All MOBIUS libraries should adhere to nationally accepted cataloging standards and guidelines according to the documents listed below. Quality and integrity of the MOBIUS database are necessary in order to maintain reliable access to the shared catalog
