Job Summary

Job Description: The Technology and Resource Sharing Consultant (TRSC) provides consulting services to Missouri libraries, specializing in the use of technology and library technical services.  The TRSC also functions as project lead for resource-sharing and technology-based statewide projects, administers LSTA grants, and plans technology and resource sharing continuing education opportunities.  For a complete job description, go to https://sosmo.applicantpro.com/jobs/1187105.html.

Salary Range: $3,489 - $3,689 monthly

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

In-depth knowledge of technological advances of information delivery, standards of bibliographic cataloging practice, and vendor applications for bibliographic services; current knowledge of computer systems used in library environments; excellent verbal and written communication skills; outstanding ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines; and strong ability to lead and work within a team.

Qualifications: A Masters Degree in Library Science from an American Library Association accredited program is required; a minimum of three years of experience in a responsible professional position as a department or program director, director of a library, or equivalent experience is preferred. An alternative Master's degree in combination with related work experience may be considered.
