Health Sciences Reference Librarian

Position

Join a team of committed, credentialed professionals who work in partnership with faculty, students, staff, physicians, and residents in education, research, clinical care, and community service at Saint Louis University Medical Center Library, serving schools of Medicine, Nursing, Public Health, Health Sciences (Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Physician Assistant, and more). 

Our reference librarians are subject specialists who provide liaison outreach across a broad spectrum of information services: teaching and instruction; clinical and research queries; collection management and access; service and governance as non-tenure University faculty. 

Academic Medical Center Environment 

Scheduled to open in September, 2020, the new SSM Saint Louis University Hospital, a $550 million, 316-bed hospital and outpatient care center, is one of 9 SSM Health hospitals and clinical sites in St. Louis for which our library provides online resources and services.
