Library Assistant

St. Charles Community College seeks a part-time Library Assistant to assist patrons, perform circulation duties and other public service functions. Previous experience with the Innovative Interfaces Inc. library system is preferred. The applicant should be dependable and flexible with regard to hours.

Qualifications:   Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from a college or technical school and one year of office experience; or high school diploma or equivalent and three years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. The applicant must possess excellent communication skills and basic computer skills including word processing.

Hours:  10 hours per week (one day, one evening) and one Saturday per month

Salary:  $10.88 to $11.95 per hour, commensurate with experience
