Charge: The MOBIUS Crossroads Task Force, Sub-Task Force on What If Issues is an advisory sub-unit responsible for finding answers and supporting documentation to questions related to the growth and governance of MOBIUS as determined by the other Task Force subgroups. Recognizing that member doubts and concerns need to be addressed, the subgroup would be responsible for investigating and responding to questions, fears or misgivings of MOBIUS members.
Statement of reporting structure: The sub-task force will report to the chair of the Crossroads Task Force any findings and these will be included in a final recommendation to the MOBIUS Executive Committee as appropriate.
Membership: Open to any person willing to serve as a volunteer in the success of the future of MOBIUS;chair is a 2009/2010 member of the MOBIUS Executive Committee, appointed by the chair of the MOBIUS Crossroads Task Force.
Member qualifications: A willingness to work hard and provide an effort to mitigate any negative energy that may develop.
Membership Restrictions: Employment in a Missouri library.
Frequency of Meetings: As called by the sub-task force chair; members may attend via videoconferencing, conference call, etc.
Sub-Task Force Discussion List: Discussion list is open to members of the Sub-Task Force only; members may wish to request that MCO create a blog for other input.
Communication of the Sub-Task Force Minutes: It is the responsibility of the chair of the sub-task force to post notification of meetings to the MOBIUS web calendar two weeks prior to the date of a meeting and to take, or cause to be taken, minutes of all meetings of the sub-task force. Minutes of meetings must be submitted to the MOBIUS Online Help Desk for posting on the MOBIUS web site within 30 days of each meeting and are accessible to any person with the proper MOBIUS permissions. Notification of posting will be sent to the appropriate consortium listserv.
Output: The Sub-Task Force chair will provide regular reports to the Task Force and will provide a summary of any work by December 15, 2009.
