Detailed description: 
Several positions open for part-time, evening and weekend reference librarians. Responsible for general reference duties including but not limited to: • Provide reference assistance to students, faculty and staff • Develop and maintain resource materials • Collect and analyze metadata • Provide Library tours and instruction sessions • Provide circulation support • Troubleshoot Microsoft Office software applications • Maintain and troubleshoot technology equipment Expected to take initiative, demonstrate independent judgment, accept responsibility, function as a team player, and positively represent the Jack C. Taylor Library at Fontbonne University. Requirements: ALA-accredited MLS or MLIS, excellent verbal and written communication skills. Successful candidates must pass background check. Preferred: Strong reference background, extensive knowledge of print and electronic research tools, experience in library instruction, and experience working with a diverse population. Flexible hours, including Saturdays (9a.m.-5p.m.), Sundays (1-9p.m.) and weekdays (5-11 p.m.). $17.50 per hour. Applications will be reviewed beginning May 11, 2012. Positions to begin July 1.
